Starting off constructing costumes for Broadway and the opera, I have always used dressing the body as my medium of expression. It was in these costume studios that I learned how to think abstractly about what can be done and the proper way to do it. My personal work is all wearable concept based clothing for the head and body. Wearing many hats in the creative field from costume and clothing designer, and mask and headpiece maker, I always try to bring a erratic taste of fantasy, mood, and feeling into the designs. Studying psychology in undergrad and starting and leaving fashion school afterward, I learned the ground rules, because I knew I was destined to break them. The work is always evolving into a bigger picture, more concrete, more ideal, and there I am chasing right behind it.
