The 8 Dissolutions is a Buddhist death process where the senses and elements shut down in 8 stages. This is a studio shot of Dissolution 2. The Water element starts to disappear as well as Hearing. Positive and negative emotions become neutral. Compressed bark tree fabric with embedded fossils. Hammered armature wire wrapped with wax threads, needle and wet felted sleeves.
