The 8 Dissolutions is a Buddhist death process where the senses and elements shut down in 8 stages. This is a studio shot of Dissolution 4. The Air element starts to disappear as well as Taste. There is a vision of a red and blue candle flame burning out. Needle and wet felted wool on chiffon.

The 8 Dissolution series will be shown at the Morris Museum Jan 28, 2022.
